All my products have been safety assessed and are fully certificated in line with The Cosmetic Products (Safety) Regulations 2004. I keep MSDS and sourcing information for all my ingredients and have allergen information for all the essential and fragrance oils I use. Every batch produced has a detailed product information file and comes with clear labelling so you know exactly what you are getting. My Ranges

The Bare Essentials Range: scented with pure essential oils and enriched with a wide variety of therapeutic oils added after the soap is “cooked” to ensure that their therapeutic properties are preserved. This range is coloured using pure natural colourants such as alkanet root, paprika and turmeric, coloured by the oils it contains, or left uncoloured.

The Fantasy Range: scented with essential and/or carefully selected IFRA tested and approved fragrance oils, enriched with a wide variety of therapeutic oils and tinted with colourants which include ultramarines and oxides as well as natural colourants from the Bare Essentials range. This range includes fragrances not available from essential oils and some “designer” fragrances.

The Back to Nature Range: unscented, uncoloured and enriched with a wide variety of therapeutic oils. Gentle and caring, just the way nature intended, this range is ideal for those with very sensitive skin, children and infants over 3 months old or those who prefer an non-perfumed product.

I don't deny that people do some amazing and beautiful crafting with melt and pour and there is a wonderful artistry to it when done at its best, but it is not the same product that I and other traditional soap makers produce.

Handmade is exactly what my soaps are and they are all crafted using traditional methods. These methods preserve the nutritive benefits of the oils and retain the natural glycerine commonly removed from commercial soaps, creating a rich, creamy, gentle lather. No chemical additives or hardeners are used, just the purest vegetable oils blended together to create a mild, kind and moisturizing bar. All of my bars retain their natural glycerine and are enriched with a wide variety of therapeutic oils.

All vegetable natural soaps My soaps are made from pure vegetable oils and are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. I have created three distinct ranges which offer a myriad of different fragrances, colours and textures and are enhanced with additional, specially selected oils catering for the wide range of skin types we possess.

I also produce a range of exfoliant soaps encompassing various uses from very gentle facial soaps with oats and honey through to pumice based soaps suitable for the hardest skin and the dirtiest of hands (great for gardeners, mechanics and mucky kids alike!).

Shampoo bars ~ a simple alternative A solid shampoo created using a special blend enriched with castor oil or neem oil to produce a gentle moisturizing shampoo: they do just what they should remove dirt, oil, and shampoo residue leaving your hair feeling healthy and clean. Some people may need to use a conditioner afterwards, especially if their hair is dry or processed, but many find they do not need to. These bars help eliminate static electricity in the hair too! I craft bars suitable for many different types of scalps, from greasy to ultra dry, and even produce a bar which will deal with dandruff or an itchy scalp. All the shampoo bars are also suitable for use on the body, creating the perfect top-to-toe fragrance layering.

Whipped body butters A light, easily absorbed body butter. Luxuriant, moisturising, shea and cocoa butters whipped together with oils selected for their emollient, nurturing and rejuvenating properties. As with the massage/lotion bars the whipped butters are beautifully fragranced with pure essential or carefully chosen fragrance oils, sure to make your skin feel pampered, nurtured and downright spoiled! *Vegan version available*.

Although my bars are manufactured using all natural ingredients, certain essential and fragrance oils may be irritating or sensitising to some people. Please discontinue use if you experience irritation.

To ensure your soaps last as long as possible, please keep the bar dry between uses: a well draining soap dish works the best. Do not leave your soap in the bath ~ it will disappear!! Before use the soaps will store best in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.

Some essential oils are not safe for use under certain circumstances (pregnancy, hypertension, epilepsy etc); please read descriptions carefully and refer to labelling both of which indicate what medical or other conditions are contra-indicated with certain essential oils. As a qualified aromatherapist I use essential oils in some of my products both for their aromatic and therapeutic benefits: however, as with all products containing essential oils, if you are pregnant and/or have a pre existing medical condition please contact me or your own qualified therapist to ensure the oils are suitable for you.

Pregnancy

Great care should be taken when using essential oils during pregnancy, especially in the first and second trimesters. Please seek professional advice and if in any doubt at all DO NOT USE A PRODUCT you are unsure of whilst you are pregnant. All my essential oil products carry warnings about pregnancy and other conditions which may be affected by their use.

Nut Allergy As some of my products contain nut oils there is always a small possibility that any one of my products may contain traces of nut. Any product made with nut oil as an ingredient will have an allergy warning on it.

Packaging

My products are biodegradable and none of them have been tested on animals.... only willing human volunteers who have my eternal gratitude for their comments, suggestions and input all of which has helped and continues to help develop my range.
