After starting off small just making bath bombs, melts and massage oils as an alternative mode of delivery for essential oils I developed an interest in soap making.

I noted that many of my clients, like myself, were “intolerant” of commercial soap. We all complained of tight, dry, itchy skin so I started researching soap making methods to see if I could work out where the problem lay. It did not take me long to realise that it was the actual manufacturing process which uses harsh chemicals and hardeners and also removes the natural glycerine from the bar to be sold as a separate line of income to the food industry that seemed to me to be the culprit.

I have since gone on to learn about and experiment with hot crock pot and oven processes too along with supplementing (superfatting) soaps with various oils to produce different types of bars for all the skin types.

I went on to craft many other bath and body products including massage and lotion bars, body butters and various bath additions which have lead to the wide variety of lines I produce today.
